Hi peeps – we have now arrived in Argentiere and … wow … it all looks rather impressive and wintry. Gite le Belvedere contains the usual motley bunch of skiers, snowboarders, climber etc. We sort of fit in but perhaps we may be tending toward the mature end of the occupants! Personal view of course. Having unpacked the car we retired to our alpine planning centre (aka the ‘Office Bar’). The plan is to head up to the Tacul tomorrow but tomorrow is another day and if the true wimpy ethos kicks in … who knows??
