Rachel clearly thinking that we must be mad
As part of out intense training regime to prepare us both mentally and physically I suggested a spot of dry tooling at that well known venue – the Middleton Incline. There were several objective dangers that I had not come across before that I hope we don’t meet in the Alps – falling branches and also cyclists 🙂 Needless to say we didn’t see Ueli Steck (probably too hard for him – he was doubtless soloing several alpine north faces while we were doing the real thing!
